For her DG debut, Joana Mallwitz records Kurt Weill's symphonies and his satirical ballet The Seven Deadly Sins, sung by Katharine Mehrling. Something completely different follows with the second recording: Haydn's Creation, the composer's greatest triumph. Future projects will draw on the long and distinguished history of their new venue, featuring pieces where the worlds of theatre and music collide, as well as compositions closely associated with Berlin and their new home.
